Archivist Nomination Review PC!-4DVHW

Audience: Open, available to all.
Nominator: Anyone with a Father who had to miss a part of your life in order to support or protect you, your family or your Country.

The job came with extra money and a boost to my resume that I knew would help me to land bigger and better paying jobs to benefit my family’s future. You don’t make much in the Private Protection field and I’ve always said “Contentment is the anti-Christ to ambition” and where my family is concerned, I’m not content for them and so I accepted the job.
When the plane took off I couldn’t help but ask myself, “what if I never see them again?” It was then that I realized that my little sacrifice of a 3 week security detail 4 thousand kilometers away in Canada of all places was nothing in comparison to the men and woman who protect us from the seedy underworld places of society and the many dangers of life they face on a daily basis. We really need to recognize their sacrifice more was my enlightened conclusion.
Many will say that this is; “Just a fact of life.” But the kids will say; “It’s not fair” and the wife will say; “I understand” and the Priests will say; “All is as it should be” and Humanity will say; “It’s not my fault!”
But let it be known that this Nomination says “We Recognize Your Sacrifice.”
Carry on with your Fatherly self for the World is truly in need of Fathers to be Fathers!
RCN Host Commentary: Please share this nomination with those Fathers who are Fathers and this Father’s day, recognize them for something they will truly appreciate; your outspoken love and acknowledgement of their sacrifice.

To the People of Toronto Canada;
On the last early morning of May , some 30-40 homeless, street youth, hard luck, hard times and just hungry people between Queen & Bloor on Yonge Street are now in possession of a very special coin; A coin with a real fighting chance to bring about a Happy Change for some of you and for some of them.
These coins bare the names of KINDNESS, GRATITUDE & THANKS and they each have an Official Archive number with their own Nomination to represent not just what these words mean and the human spirit behind them, but the people who also live them.
Those who accepted these coins were advised that the next time someone who they believe is kind or nice to them, to give that person their coin as a means of having something to give back. So many were readily appreciative of the chance to tell you how they really feel about your generosity and kindness that is clearly a timely boon for them.
And yet, I was honestly surprised as to how many people did not want to take the golden foil coins for what they were or for what they could do. I recognize pride in both body form and in the eyes of a person who is down on their luck or going through hard times and sadly, there were so few.
Just because we can’t help them all, doesn’t mean we should stop or give up, it just means we need to find a better way.

Who did Tom Hanks give praise to when he won a Golden Globe award in 2001 for the movie Cast Away?
I don't know either, I'd have to Google that... and... what do you know...nothing. Maybe somewhere in all of them non related search links I might find the answer, but I doubt I'll investigate deeper than my initial search.
Does this not make you wonder then; would Tom Hanks or any other celebrity give public praise or recognition to others if he or she did not win awards? Is that the incentive we need in order to give respectable public praise to others is to first win a public award?
People like Mr. Hanks could so easily call a press conference saying something like; "Yeah, I'd like to publicly express my eternal gratitude to Mr. Daadadaa and Mrs. Daadadaa, you have added so much empowerment to my life, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Really, I do."
And people (some too many anyways) would readily smile and listen to him. Any star at that stage in their game, could have the same desired effect of public praise about others on a daily basis without ever having to win anything at all and yet so many do wait to do so at their award acceptance speeches. Why I wonder?
Let's leave the stars alone for a minute and get closer to earth. What about those who are giving a Valedictorian speech, or a Bridesmaid / Best Man speech? Do they not as well give public praise at this time towards the Bride and Groom? If the Bride and Groom didn't get married, would they still have anything publicly positive to say about each other at all?
What if, no one got married or the marriage rate suddenly dropped to 25%, would that also mean that we would lose that amount of public praise that follows the reception speeches as well?
What if we dropped the Golden Globes, Emmy’s, Grammy’s etc, would we also lose those public praise mediums too? As an Archivist to Planet’s Choice and humanity, the two questions I have that beg to be asked are;
I do agree with many of you, that we shouldn't be giving out public praise left, right & center either, that would completely devalue the praise and or positive recognition, especially if it comes free or freely without being justly earned.
So my last question I'd like to ask you then, if you could not attend your public awards ceremony tomorrow, who would you give public praise to today?

How to Engage in Positive Combat
The art of Positive Combat means to fight that what you dislike by utilizing weapons of positivity on the negativity of what you dislike without resorting to being negative at all.
This of course takes considerable forethought, a desire for real peace and a certain amount of wisdom, and patience coupled with a sincere belief that it’s in everyone’s best interest to not have a crappy day.
Whenever you are engaging in Positive Combat, you should be prepared to equip yourself with the right weapons.
I’m a firm believer in the power of Manners, and more so in actually using them. Manners you see can be learned and practiced by everybody of all ages, races, creeds, genders, roles, religions, income and even by those in authority. Manners are good for everyone to practice as they are a clear sign of intelligent civility, that could potentially produce peaceful resolutions to any discrepancies and is a confirmed, sure fire way to impress your potential girlfriend’s parents that no matter how you look or dress, you might actually be a decent person. It’s a good start if ever there was one at all.
I’ve never personally experienced nor actually ever seen “Rudeness” (one of many natural enemies of Manners) to solve anything or to produce any positive results in any life encounters. Sometimes, if it wasn’t for Politeness (a close cousin and ally of Manners) many people would be having even more crappy days and on a daily basis. I do believe that the amount of or level of trouble you have sometimes with others, (especially strangers), is directly proportional to the amount of manners you have learned or where taught in your life.
Of course, that would depend again that you actually keep your manners sharp and well trained while being ready to be deployed at a moment’s notice. Also, having a huge arsenal of Manners is completely pointless if you don’t actually use them. And even then, when you do use them, you must be prepared to annihilate the Misunderstandings (barriers to effective Manner tactics and deployment) into submission.
When deploying your manners give consideration into which ones to use for each situation you may find yourself in. It’s like butter and oil sandwiches or like oil and butter wheel grease. You only need one to do the job but you need the foresight to understand which one and for which situation.
Most modern day Manner Armories are always well stocked with the following; “Please”, “Thank-you”, “Your Welcome” and “After You.”
Whenever Manners are used properly, the effects of which are usually immediately apparent by signs of genuine smiles, happy waves of acknowledgement, friendly peace signs, or sincere laughter and sometimes even beers, hugs and kisses.

As the founder to Planet’s Choice with a 17 year development insight, there are a few things that I believe can and will happen with the introduction of the world’s first Public Praise and Recognition Service Company that is Planet’s Choice.
Without being too specific, I believe…
-Anonymous Nominations can be useful, but will not yield any “Rep” to the Nominator; all praise will go directly to the Nominee and the message within the nomination.
-Identifiable Nominators will build up a potentially useful online reputation based on their selected Nominations, and that reputation will increase exponentially with the duration of any and all successfully Archived Nominations that do not fail Precept 1. Therefore, be guarded in your Nominations while trusting in what you believe.
-If you get nominated as a Great Leader, you'd better be prepared to put on your brown pants for people will surely look to you now more than ever when times are tough.
-If you get nominated as an Inspirational Leader, you’d better make sure your message is real or get real quick.
-If you get nominated as a Great Mother or Father from your 18 year old sons and daughters... relax, your job is done; at that moment, such a nomination would be the equivalent of a Parental Graduation Diploma relieving you of your parental duties and a job well done! But of course, everyone knows that a Mother’s job is never done, especially where her children are concerned...
-The children of tomorrow will find their own heroes in the Public Archives and not just in comic books.
-Everybody now, is in essence, their own Emmy’s, Grammy’s, Oscar’s and Scouts of LIFE for the planet at large or in your very neighborhood.
-That Sponsors can play an integral role within society as "for real" benefactors to humanity by supporting the Planet's Choice Sponsor Rewards Plan. This in turn, helps to protect both you and the integrity of your Public Archives.
-That the Sponsor Reward Plans are going to become the company's Logistical Challenge Number #2 as we attempt to incorporate individual, local, provincial / state & national and perhaps one day, international Sponsor Reward Plans. The goal here is to reward your nominee wherever they are in the planet. I understand exactly what you say when you say; "I wish this card could have been more...".
-That one day, overly decent behavior to others induced by public praise and recognition will become the norm and on that day, Planet’s Choice will happily go out of business.
-That Planet’s Choice is the Vehicle to social Evolution, but that only you have the keys.
